Tigers Ride the Prairie Schooner

In the summer of 1998 the River Rats took a trip up the Big Muddy to a party at the Johnson's lake house in Portland, along the bank of Pine Barren Creek. Legendary Auburn University football players David Jordan and Randy Campbell were along for the ride.

David Jordan (L) and Randy Campbell (R) answer questions from the River Rats about what it was like to dismantle the great defenses of the SEC. These two sent "Bo Over the Top" in 1982 and stole the show from Doug Flutie and Boston College in the 1982 Tangerine Bowl. By the time their playing days were over, the course of Auburn football had changed forever!

Amanda Jordan (L) and Nancy Campbell (R) have heard plenty of this football talk. Amanda, an AU grad like her husband, pulls for the Tigers each fall! Nancy is a graduate of the University of Georgia and is a Bulldog fan!

Alabama fan Ted Tait headed to the upper deck to avoid hearing about Auburn Football. AU grad Kristi Huggins joined Ted but likely got tired of hearing about those gazillion National Championships.

Rebecca Wright tells AU quarterback Randy Campbell he was a hero to all the Auburn faithful in the early 80's, including her little brother.
